The Council on Rehabilitation Education (CORE) accredits graduate programs in Rehabilitation Counselor Education (RCE). The purpose of CORE is to promote, through accreditation, the effective delivery of rehabilitation services to individuals with disabilities by promoting and fostering continuing review and improvement of master's degree level RCE Programs.
- Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC)
The Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC) is an independent, not-for-profit organization that sets the standard for quality rehabilitation counseling services through its internationally recognized certification program. Individuals passing the voluntary certification examination become qualified as Certified Rehabilitation Counselors, or CRCs.
- National Clearinghouse of Rehabilitation Training Materials
The NCRTM is sponsored by the Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA) and hosted by Utah State University. They serve the profession of Vocational Rehabilitation as a centralized resource for the development, collection, dissemination, and utilization of training materials; as a forum for advancing knowledge through applied research and open dialog; and as a marketplace for career and staff development.
- National Council on Disability
NCD is an independent federal agency composed of members appointed by the President of the United States, by and with the advice and consent of the U.S. Senate. NCD provides advice to the President, Congress, and executive branch agencies to promote policies, programs, practices, and procedures that guarantee equal opportunity for all individuals with disabilities, regardless of the nature or severity of the disability and to empower individuals with disabilities to achieve economic self-sufficiency, independent living, and inclusion and integration into all aspects of society.
- National Institute of Disability and Rehabilitation Research
The National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) is composed of the following organizations: The Interagency Committee on Disability Research (ICDR), is responsible for identifying, assessing, and seeking to coordinate and promote cooperation among all Federal program activities, projects, and plans with respect to the conduct of research related to rehabilitation of individuals with disabilities.

Not long after Congress passed the National Rehabilitation Act of 1920, the National Rehabilitation Association (NRA) began its commitment to persons with disabilities. As the oldest and strongest advocate for the rights of persons with disabilities, our mission is to provide advocacy, awareness and career advancement for professionals in the fields of rehabilitation.
- The National Rehabilitation Information Center
The National Rehabilitation Information Center (NARIC) has collected and disseminated the results of federally funded research projects. NARIC's literature collection, which also includes commercially published books, journal articles, and audiovisuals, averages around 200 new documents per month
