Brown Bag Training - Mental Illness and the Whole FamilyURA Presents a Virtual Workshop by Pam Childs, NAMI Trainer Pam oversees all of NAMI’s education and support programs as well as NAMI affiliate offices throughout the state. Prior to coming to NAMI, she spent 26 years in marketing and finance, and is thrilled to finally work for an organization where the bottom line is people, not dollars. Pam’s involvement with NAMI began when she took a Family-to-Family class, which led to her becoming a FTF teacher, a Basics teacher, and Basics and Family Support Group State Trainer. Having lost a husband and a daughter to mental illness, Pam has an intimate knowledge of the challenges family members face, which is why she is dedicated to growing and strengthening NAMI programs.
